What is the CSI Travel Service?
Our Travel Service gives travel client the ability to search multiple travel data sources (XML, API's, Web Services) and bring them back in a common format.

What does this mean
.... your customers visit your site and find travel stock such as flights, hotels, car hire, tours etc all from a variety of operators and suppliers in one single set of result.

Here's an example

This example shows a web site interacting with the CSI Media Travel Service to obtain results, without the travel service each source would have to be contacted independently by the web site, which is cumbersome and inefficient. The ability to bring back combined flights or hotels from multiple suppliers gives your clients the maximum choice in terms of product and price.

The ability to add new feeds into our Travel Service means that the customer can utilise these feeds and get them to market quickly. The customer sees the results info in a combined set of results and as such is not required to perform multiple searches.

How does this fit in with Dynamic Packaging?

You can take the Travel Service one stage further in order to facilitate what is known in the travel industry as Dynamic packaging, your site can be adapted to utilise the travel service to bring back combined flights, hotels and cars or any combination at a single price.
